I just figured out how to add a photo to the header of my blog. Yeah, I know I'm a bit slow! Anyway, now if I could only figure out how to move the text with the title of the blog I'd be a happy person.
The photo up there is my quilt "Amazing Grace" which was juried into the Houston quilt show last year. It measures 72" x 13"

Amazing Grace is simply amazing - you need to see it in person - it won a special award at our show in 2006 (Best Use of Color if I'm remembering correctly). Corky is so so talented - yes you are!! Can't quite figure out why she's hanging around with a bunch of traditional quilters but we're sure glad of it!

Karen is too kind, but she's right it was best use of color. I can confidently say I'll never win another ribbon (My technical skills are not as good as they need to be in order to win ribbons) so I cherish the one I got.

Oh, pooh on you, Probie! I envision many ribbons in your future. And then there's the fact that you have had a quilt accepted in Houston!! To me that's a ribbon in itself.
