I grew up in Michigan and I miss the beautiful fall colors. This is our first fall in our new house and I'm enjoying the view from our living room to the wooded area behind our house. We had a cold snap last week which helped bring out the colors of the trees.

Oh, my goodness - can it be that Hayden has grown so much? She is even cuter now. Love the autumn leaves. When I saw the pictures on the news from the Portland, OR, sit-in with all the wonderful yellow trees in the Park Blocks I actually had tears come to my eyes! Took me back to my teen years in a flash. But they only have those leaves in the years that the rain holds off until mid-November. Autumn is a time for nostalgia, right?
