My quilt in Houston

My friend Sarah, a fabulous quilter and a former state dept. worker who has lots of very interesting stories to tell, took this photo for me of my quilt as it was displayed in Houston. (clickable for a larger view)

I'm hoping that the woman pointing to something on the quilt wasn't pointing out some mistake!

Thanks Sarah!

I am sure she was saying, "Look at this one, isn't it fabulous?"

Corky......when I was near your quilt (don't know if it was when I was taking this picture...the lady in the blue is my friend Deborah Boschert of deborahsjournal.blogspot.com by the way).... I heard someone saying "I know that bridge!", so maybe it was this time!

Glad to be able to send this to you...it's a great quilt, and I remember when you were making it for the Straight and Narrow challenge! It turned out Great (obviously...look where it is hanging! Festival!!!!!)

Here's to meeting you in Houston or elsewhere one of these years, Sarah

Congratulations on having a quilt accepted to Houston.

Listening to people comment about the quilts always interest me when I'm at quilt shows. Most are thrilled by the quilts, but there's always some grouchy lady that can't find anything nice to say. Funny thing is those grouchy ladies make me giggle.

Thank you for your comment in my blog.
I think that the lady was thinking "I want it".
It is a master piece.

Cheers,
